Tool Advice
I'm starting to build up a collection of workshop tools and would appreciate some advice.
Do people recommend bike-specific tools, or quality general purpose tools?
Is a set of Park hex keys likely to be better/more appropriate than a set of Wiha (a brand which I swear by for general tools) keys?
Or should I just get a socket set with a good collection of smaller sockets and adaptors?

For things like hex keys, there's no point getting bike specific tools, unless you get a 'multitool' set, where there's multiple keys integrated into a single handle. A socket set would be very beneficial if you're going to get some decent torque wrenches. Note that for optimum maintenance, you'll need 2 torque wrenches, one that's accurate at low torques for stems, derailleurs etc and a big one for fitting cranks.0

I think the old adage about "you pay for what you get" is particularly relevant with tools - so don't ever buy cheap ones - buy the best you can afford.
I have never heard of the brand you mention so can't comment.
My opinion is that general purpose tools like hex keys and spanners etc don't need to be bike specific because I am sure there is an element of paying for the name if you go for Park etc. (However, in saying that, if you ask any good motor mechanic which tools are the best the majority will say Snap-On which are incredibly expensive!)
I also happen to own a set of the Park P-Handled hex wrenches which are very good and nice to use but expensive for what they are - but I was bought them for a Birthday present. A good set of ball ended keys like the ones you mention would be just as good.
