Hi, just would like to know your opinion about this, I bought a bike 5 month ago a Claud Butler Odyssey G alongside my other Road Bike and mountain bike, then a few days ago the wheel completely broke I took it to a local shop where they said it would be too difficult to repair as all of the spokes were too loose and then today when fitting a new wheel the chain came off and somehow got a knot in it and has crossed it self over. I have emailed the company in question but whats the chances of them either repairing it or replacing it or even a refund.

Has anyone else been in the same situation?

Thanks in Advance :)

Take it back to your LBS and explain whats happened.

If they don't sort it out for free then they're money hungry morons.

    Hey there,

I have a 2007 San Remo. A couple of months ago the back wheel bearings were a bit dodgy. I took the bike to my LBS and they were able to replace the wheel under warranty. However, I should mention that Claud Butler only supplied a similair wheel and not the exact type that came with the bike. But I gave the ok for them to do that because I wanted the bike back quickly.

Apart from that, the bike has been solid. I'm even taking it to France in a couple of days.

    Cheers
