Can anyone offer any assistance on fitting these please because the instructions are absolute pants!!! Do I need to remove my brakes to attach the mudguards to that bolt which holds the brakes. I want to fit them to a Giant SCR2.

Er yeah i think you do cos the bracket has to hang onto the frame somehow ?

Although my clip has broken now, so I've improvised with a zip tie.

Undo the bolt that holds your brake calipers to the frame (you'll have to turn the forks to see it) and once you've taken the brakes off, fit the bracket on the top of the guards to the bolt (you can adjust the height here -- make sure that the wheel turns freely). Then replace the brakes and tighten. Be sure that the brakes are equidistant from the rims when you tighten the bolt and voila!
