Installed as per manufactures instructions.

Problem is the non drive side crank does not come off when undoing the self extracting bolt.

Need to add a little more grease to the BB as there is a creak on up hill sections.

As they're carbon brute force is not an option.

  • Gazza, I purchased 2007 FSA k force crankset for a recent bikebuild, and before it arrived from the States, I was made aware of a legion of problems with this kit, some of which you are experiencing.
Now if you search on this forum you might find the thread from a few months back concerning this-also check the FSA website for fixes for these problems.

    Thanks for that John.

My problem getting the sodding thing off!!! Seems they have cured the problem of the left crank coming by tightening the splined interface.

Cloth and light taps with a rubber mallet or a quick ride with bolt removed I feel.

so have you removed the extracting collar? or as they call it the M25 Retaining Nut?

put it back with the the 3mm washer and then undo the BB30 Crank Bolt.

so that is the non drive side removed. now tap the axle and the drive side should pop out.

if you remove the extracting collar then there is nothing for the bolt to push on.

dont forget to fit the anti friction washer.
