Flashes every five seconds or so at 22:22.

Woo hoo! Love riding in thunderstorms, hope it lasts til 6am!

    If its the same storm front tht passed through Bristol earlier then you'll be disappointed. Had the flashes and rumbles about 16:10, rain at 16:20 then drying pavements at 18:05. Did rain again later but I was sat in front of the PC so can't say what happened.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    Whenever the weather looks doubtful, I check the rainfall radar on http://euro.wx.propilots.net/. It gives pretty accurate rainfall forecast for the next 4 hours.

    The Met Office rainfall radar is the best tool I know for ultra-short range forecasts. Updated every 30 minutes, run the animation and you can easily see what is heading your way.

    I use the Met office radar too, it's great.

    Only trouble is it can put me off riding as I have a car as well. Lately I've taken to ignoring it and just getting on with it.

    Considering shaving my legs though, it'll move me up the FCN and mean my legs dry out quicker!
