Four ways to climb very similar to Mortirolo, Galibier, Tres Cimas de Lavaredo and Arcalis respectively.
I love this puerto (is pretty near to my home i had climb it several times) and hope can see it in Vuelta soon.
Have a look in the follow doc (It´s in english. I have sent it tho Procycling in order to do an article in the future)

Is there a challenge route that takes in this climb (or the others in the PPT mentioned in it)?
Thinking something like the raid pyreneen or the randonee alpine (see link)
http://www.chez.com/bikeevasion/alpes.htm
If so could you let me know where to find details?
If not then maybe you could create one??Martin S. Newbury RC0 -

Apart from the steep climb Ancares is the most similar area to Scotland that I ever visited, even they have tatcher houses and lost of heather in the slopes. If you like Flandes, Roubaix or Eroica, you would like GP Canal de Castilla, www.gpcanaldecastilla.com0
