Combined bottle cage pump bracket

Went out for a ride yesterday armed with two water botles positioned in their usual places on the frame. This meant that my pump had to be secured to the "cross bar" using straps. I don't yet own a rear pocketed jersey but I doubt it would have been secure in one anyway.

My pump did come with a front loading mounting bracket but this means sacrificing one of the bottle cages which wasn't really an option with the weather being so warm. The whole thing looked rather messy so does anyone know if you can get combined bottle cages and pump mounting brackets? I've had a quick surf but can't seem to find anything. Anyone have a recommended solution?

Thanks.

Most pump mounts go underneath the bottle cage - have you tried that?

There are separate brackets about like http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/product-Truf ... -15935.htm but it obviously depends on the size of your pump how well they fit. You could go along to your LBS and try your pump with the bracket, to make sure it fits though. Or you could just buy another pump c/w the type of bracket you want, most of them do seem to come with the combined type IME.

Cheers Fluff that looks exactly what I want (I actually have a Truflow pump as well).

Providing I can find some long enough mounting screws I should be able to fit a bottle cage on top.

If that's your pump and comes with the same bracket as in the picture, there's no reason why you can't already have the pump mount and bottle cage attached at the same time.

Have you tried this mounting bracket with a bottle cage on top? I'd be suprised if it wasn't designed to have a cage on top.

No unfortunately the supplied bracket is definitely not like that one but I may pop along to the bike shop and see if they stock the same bracket.
