Look Keo pedal problems

I have just changed to Look Keo Sprint pedals from SPDs. I have 3 problems:
1) It takes me ages to click in, I just can't get the hang of it. I have adjusted the tension, moved the cleats but it makes no difference. With SPDs I had no problems.
2) The rubber walking bits are falling off already, after 4 rides, does this matter?
3) How do you know when the cleats are in the correct position?
Any advice would be useful. Thanks.

They take quite a bit of force to get them to engage.. You have to push down and twist at the same time. Its a bit weird till you get used to it. Just takes a bit of a knack thats all.
It'll get easier as the cleats wear in.
As for the rubber bits. they'll wear quite quickly again nothing to worry about IMHO.
As for position thats a real personal thing. I adjusted and adjusted mine over the space of a few rides till I felt comfortable. Try and get the cleat so it sits under the ball of your foot though.

As fizz says, with clicking in it's mainly just a case of getting used to the new feel; they're quite different from SPD's so are bound to take some getting used to.
I had trouble with the rubber bits falling off my cleats too. I think that the rubber pads are a fairly new innovation, and it seems that Look haven't yet mastered the art of getting rubber and plastic to stick together properly. With my next pair of cleats I might go around the edges of the rubber pads with superglue to see if that improves the durability.

the cleats don'rt wear as well as the older keos, I always carry plastic cleat covers to prevent wear at stops, I think these come new with Keo cleats now
Apart from that I think Keo pedals are great, easier to use than the Look Classic pedalsI want to climb hills so badly;

It will get easier - IME the cleats took a little while to wear in. It'll become easy and second nature before long...0
