Road Shoes That Take Eggbeater Cleats?

Just as the subject header asks, which road shoes can accept the 2 bolt eggbeater cleats, ideally I would like some that do not require any form of adapter as I want a low stack height.
I could go as far as some MTB shoes that do not have too much of the tread, so any recommendations are welcome, the websites I have checked seem very scant on which cleats can be attached.

Cheers

You could use MTB shoes, all of those take Eggbeater cleats no problem. You could also, however, go for 3 bolt Quattro cleats. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=13057

The Quattro cleat does use an adaptor, but when I saw one, it was quite low profile, possibly a bit less than that of Shimano SPD SLs for example, due to the tinyness of the actual cleat.
  • Sidi Genius 5 shoes accepts 2 and 3 bolt cleats (the millenium sole Sidis) I have a 2006 pair here with 2 bolt quattro cleats fitted.

A quick check on the Sidi web site confirms this is still true...Go to www.Sidi.it -> Select road shoes -> Genius -> Technical Details and then click the Millenium sole. It'll show you the underside if the shoe with the fittings.
