Can anybody give advice. I recently bought a bike with Shimano 105 gearing. I can't sem to beable to set the gears up corectly. When riding I get a clicking sensation through the right pedel in one place as the pedals rotate. This does not happen in all gears. Is this a gearing issue or a crank problem.
Sincerely
Bikecar

You'll probably get someone along soon who will give you a few options, but this is the sort of thing which is very hard to diagnose over an internet forum.

Your best option would be to take it down to your LBS and let someone who knows have a look at it in the flesh as it were.

Which gears does it happen in? If it's only the smaller cogs (in actual physical size) at the rear it might be a slightly stiff chain link.
Might be a crack in the casette?
Noises are always hard to pin down on bike as sound travels so well through metal.
Maybe try a different wheel to try and isloate the problem area?

Try unclipping your right foot whilst riding. If the clicking goes away it could be your peddle. This clicking would usually occur at the top of the crank stroke.

I reckon pedal as well. In addition, have a look at the little tail of cable that sticks out of the front deraiileur, sometimes it catches the crank and makes a ticking noise.
