Have been looking at the I link cables with a view to upgrade my current xtr ones as they have started to fray a bit,
looking at them and the spcs, it looks like they have enough to cover the std cable moutings witht he outers but ideally i would like to have the complete cable run covered, now, got me thinking as appears that the whole of the cable run ois covered with the inners from the set, do you really need to have the complete cable run covered in outers if thats the case?? as obviously nothing can get into the cables,
also, if i were to have the complete cable outers for the lot wouldi need two packs for enough outer??

also looked at the Nokons but they were quite a bit more than the i links?? are they similar in the sence that you can adjust the length by clicking in additiona sections of outer????

Tbh id stick with xtr/gore or what i have racing snakes.

I have nokon well on one side now and they last a while but cables only really get covered where exposed and ive been through most cables and it's all a muchness.

For price xtr really can't be beat.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
