It's not just the motorists....

One of the route options for my commute takes me around this roundabout. I come down Whitefield Road and take the second exit on to Govan Road, toward the city centre.

So, I'm coming onto the roundabout this morning, clearly indicating that I'm going right. As I came past the first exit (Govan Road toward Summertown Road) an guy on a bike comes racing on to the roundabout, nearly colliding with me. Worse, he then shouted at me (as if it were my fault) and pushed by me on my left, shaking his head.

It's not even (I assume) like he was a guy who has just dragged his rusty old MTB out of his shed to save paying the rising petrol prices but who isn't really too sure what he's doing. No, this guy was kitted head to toe in racing gear and was perched on a fairly expensive looking road bike.

This really made me angry. It's bad enough having to watch out for inconsiderate motorists who don't give a rats @rse for people on bikes... but fellow cyclists too?!?!?
