CSC's use of new carbon fiber derailler...

The pulleys are much bigger (although the whole thing is thinner) so it requires 2cm more chain. But CSC says it has less friction than a normal setup.

    typical Italian not knowing how long a chain link is.

    Ullrich rode a large jockey wheel at some point, it is/was a fad among Ironmen as well, the thought being that you save a few watts as it doesn't have to spin as fast.. or something

    For these bits of kit the carbon weave = macho code for power
