Cranksets and Bottom Brackets
My current setup comprises a Truvativ IsoFlow 53/39 crankset attached to a traditional square taper style bottom bracket.
I'm pondering upgrading to external bearing type bracket and crankset however what I would like to know is whether or not the new design offers advantages over what i've got.
I'm not hung up on weight, rather, would the new system be stiffer, allow more transfer of power through the cranks, etc.?
Or is it all just clever marketing?
I would be interested to know what folks' experiences/thoughts are
Thanks,
Grant
