Freeride/DH bike?

Hey all,
Used to ride every day up until about 17 then kinda lost interest for a while but now it's back in a big way
Want to ride fairly full on freeride/downhill & eventually enter a couple of races but couldn't decide on what bike to buy. Ended up buying a new 2007 Kona Stinky for £970.
I can't seem to find any reviews of the bike anywhere so what do you guys think?
I broke my femur in a freak accident riding Esher Shore :x so I'm stuck at home watching the Earthed series, wishing the day I can get back on my bike will come!!

Yeah Already bought the bike. It seems ok, if a little heavy. It's good and strong though, not a scratch on it after my tumble!
