Ok I've decided on a SS rather than a cross

so I've got the following choices

Condor Pista

Cannondale Capo Optimo

    I am defo getting a fixed next but may build it with old 531 frame to shave cash.

    Why don't you ask on the London fixed gear forum?

    I know nothing about road frame and fixies other than I want one as my hybrid ss -time trialesque is too weird!

    I'd have back and front brakes on a winter bike though, no? Fuji would be well scary? Mind, tis flat in London.

    The guys I ride with have a good selection, most bits and bobs they've built themselves and look lovely but pricey. There's so much choce on pre-builts but it doesn't seem to hard to find out and get parts if you know what yer doing or know people and have a friendly LBS.
    One has a Bob Jackson, but a mate of mine has (had) a Surly Steamroller. It's a bit more than some of your choices but is ace. For some reason she's changed the wheels and bar and gearing though.

    I'm actually in Leeds but found it though the fixed gear Leeds guys.. it's quite useful...
