Is it possible to swap the lever on my sons Hayes Sole with a Shimano Deore M525 lever?

He has Deores on the rear and Hayes Sole on the front, would tidy things up with matching levers and we've been offered a front Deore lever f.o.c.

Cheers

i will cover the issues, the two braking systems use different fluid and the rubber seals in the brakes are fluid specific and using the wrong fluid can cause the rubber seals to swell and fail.

also the sole is a single sided brake and the deore brakes are dual sided so the piston areas are different so the master pistons will also be a different size.
