Disk Rotors

My rotors from my Avid Juicy 3's have both bent some how - i think from a stone or twig.
I would like to replace them but would like to know what may be the strongest rotor that is 6 bolt and 160mm.
Thanks
Simon

the same.
have a read of the tech links sticky in the tech forum as there are links to instructions for straightening discs."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I have had them straightened by my LBS but i think i would prefer some better rotors rather than just keep getting them straightened.Giant XTC 2.5 '08

rotors will warp, it is a fact of life really my LBS was telling me.
Hopes are supposed to be quite resistant to it but i dont know if they are compatible with juicys.
My juicy 5 rotors have gone a bit once or twice and it has been little effort to re-true them (did it trail-side once with a bottle opener that came with MBUK one issue last year)
How bent are they? is it a very slight wobble cauing some rubbing or a very big bend causing major problems?
I think slight warping occurs due to the constant stress breaking puts on the components in many cases.Giant TCR advanced 2 (Summer/race)

I've never bent a hope floating rotor, and i've had them so hot i heard them ping back into place as they cooled.0

never bent a Avid one through heat either.
problem with hope rotors and Avid brakes you will find the pad removal pins catch on the parts that join the braking surface to the spider.
Back to the OP there are no stronger rotors, they will all bend if you hit them."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I agree with Nicklouse - mine have been given some serious abuse, and the only time they've ever bent is when they've been hit - and those were Juicy Ulitmate rotors (which I'm sure are excatly the same as all the other, but with a flash name).2011 Yeti ASR5 carbon: http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/5817307/

It's the Avid G2 clean Sweep rotor.
The hope floating rotors look stunning but like the above poster said - the clips on the avid pads catch on the joins. They can be modified but it's not ideal.Specialized Enduro SL Pro Carbon
