mavic ksyrium freewheel removal
Hi There
Completely stumped again and google is not my friend - I need help
I have some nice MAVIC ksyrium elite wheels but a few recent bangs from the freewheel make me suspect its worn or sticking and needs a service
Question is how to remove it? Everything on YouTube suggests pulling of the lhs axle cap and inserting a 10mm socket - but my wheels dont have that - theres a 5mm socket on the lhs axle end as well as on the rhs - I have tried inserting two 5mm allen keys and leaning on them but it isn't working and i dont want to muller the alloy axle
To help identify the hub its got a black plastic adjustment cap on the lhs (not silver alloy) and a pull off spacer
THanks your help!
