A couple of years ago i got a 06 Kona kikapu frame with a back country kit and built the bike. i found some good deals and normally it should be around $2000 but i got it for $1100. i love everything about it except the rear shock. Its a fox vanilla with only 100mm and I'm needing something with a little more travail. So would it be possible to put something in a little bigger like around 140mm? or would i have to just get a new frame?

    new frame.

as 1 it is an XC frame and will not take the repeated forces from other types of riding.

2 a longer shock i dont think will actually fit without a rocker kit but then back to point 1.
