Can upload routes but not tracks to Geko 201
I'm baffled. Using Bikely I created this version of the recent C2C ride from SW London to Hove. I export it as a GPX file to my desktop.
I used GPSBabel to simplify the GPX down to 500 track points (following these instructions). I'm not even sure that I need to do this because Garmin's 201 spec cheet suggests that the 201 can store 10,000 trackpoints and 10 tracks.
Using EasyGPS I use the track data to create a route then I send the GPX to my Geko 201 selecting Tracks, Routes and Waypoints.
The Geko tells me "Transfer Complete".
OK so far. If I trawl my Geko's menus I discover that all the Waypoint and Route data has been transferred correctly. However the Track data hasn't.
I've repeated the exercise using a much simpler route (to the end of my street and back) and the result is the same: waypoints, routes but not tracks.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Fixed.
Oddly, if you don't manually add a label to the route of track, EasyGPS succeeds in uploading the route but not the track.
To fix this, select the track, right-click and select Edit Track, add a label and a name and you're away!0
