Glasgow Assos Stockists?

I'm visiting Glasgow next weekend and thought I might check out a city centre bike shop while there. Can any be recommended or are there any Assos stockists? Thinking I might pick myself a little pair of summer mits or someit while Mrs Hungrycol meets some friends. Ideally within walking distance of the city centre if poss.

    That would be Dales Cycles in Townhead, if you want city centre. I believe the dealers are having a lot of Assos supply problems at the moment, though a pair of mitts doesn't seem a lot to ask.

    Dales is the best store for eye candy, but I don't think they have stocked Assos stuff since about 2004.

    I doubt Billy Bilslands does either. It's a shame - I remember going into Bilslands circa 1992 and there being loads of top end road frames and road gear there. The last time I went in (a few years ago now, right enough), it's mostly kiddy bikes and MTBs.

    Dooley's in Paisley might stock Assos - can't think of any others, though.

    I think Janette at Clachan of Campsie stocks Assos, but it's not exactly city centre.

    Col Glasgow bike shops stock the same old stuff i.e GORE,ALTURA,ENDURA. the only shop that sells ASSOS is the BIKEWEARHOUSE in Clachan of Campsie Lennoxtown its about 12 mile outside of Glasgow. alistair Gow has a Bike shop next door....one of the most picturesque places for a bike shop at the foot of the Crow road in the Camsie hills...you can get a bus from the Centre of glasgow from Buchanan Steet Bus station...right nest to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall you cant miss it.......Failing that why dont you drag your Mrs on the train to edinburgh only 45 mins from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh waverley....there are about 4 Shops in the Centre who stock ASSOS......go to assos.com website and you will get their addresses hope this helps

    Very tempting. My bro lives in Edinburgh, although he'll be at work.... humm, I feel plans afoot.
