Tyre size question

I am hoping to put some cross tyres on my Specialized Allez now the trails are more hard pack than mud.

I have Mavic Aksiums and officially these can take 32 width wheels

Can I put 32 width tyres and get away with it frame/brakes wise. Presume there will be no mud.

Anyone done it?

    Why not just measure the clearance(s) with existing tyres and then add whatever the difference is between those and "32"?
