Well I had to do it more money than sense etc, invested in a gravity dropper, 3" drop, magnetic and spring action, initial impressions are it is a good bit of kit and very easy to use, apparently it is very reliable too unlike the Joplin which I believe is a little temperamental, and lastly but most importantly this is available in 27.2!! Used on my local trails and seems very intuitive to use, will keep you posted. Oh and about 440g all in so not a monster either.

Bleh I have the rubber boot. But I suppose it serves a purpose.... How much did it set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

You need an allen bolt collar - lose some of that new weight!

Granted it is not the best looking addition to my new steed however function over form in this case, the rubber boot does a good job of keeping clag of the workings to be fair as it is a good fit.

Got it from freeborn on the net and was £150 notes (don't tell Mrs Artillerydave!!)

They do 2", 3" or 4" drop models, a button operated (rather than remote one) and one that stops in 1" drops. I think MBUK may be testing them at the moment too.
