Contaminated Pads?

I've just noticed that my front disc is now catching on the pad, and makes a metalic scraping sound as it does so, different to how it normally sounds when rubbing.

Also recently i bled my front shimano deore hydro brake and not re-tightening the bleed nipple properly got mineral juice all over the brake [and also more than likely on the pads too.]

In short, does this sound like new pads are required? Or is it another problem all together? :(

Cheers in advance for the help folks.

well does the brake fill work as well as before? if yes then it is not contaminated.

sounds like it could just be muck stuck on the pad/in the caliper.

    Cheers for the quick reply.

Yea the breaks still seem to perform as usual.
Would you recomend washing the pads calliper then?

i would remove the pads (make sure that you can put them back in the same place) and then wash the caliper to make sure there is no fluid still there refit the pads and just use.
