I got my Kona Stinky frame and Manitou forks today the frame is in good working order with cosmetic damage, but the forks are in a bad state, first they made a sqeulshing sound when compressed so I took them apart there was no oil in the right leg but the right leg has a coil spring in it where as the left leg doesn't, it only has oil all the seals seam broken and the crown is shot at.

is it worth sending it to someone like TFTune

    today right
i thought you got it days ago with all the questions about it.

oil does make noise when going through the damping circuits.

please download the service manual for the fork

    http://www.manitoumtb.com/serviceguides.asp

and then you may see why there is only one spring.

Oh and i a said before bin the fork and get something that works.
