I have just finished reading it and would highly recommend it.

A tragic story but i found it a compelling read.

It is a good read, a little too involved in the chemistry of things in places for my liking, most of it was compelling though. Clearly a much-troubled individual from an early age.

Yeah i read it last year, and i agree with Rob it got really into the chemistry and the whole book kinda tailed off towards the end for me. But good all the same.

Great book... the scientists in me loved the graphs, not enough biographies have graphs

    Have you read it?

One of the best books I've ever read.

Seconded... it's an honest attempt to get to the bottom of things, unlike the awful book by Pantani's ex-manager

  • Its a good book, if yoiu have read it then Ricco's *mishap* becomes understandable if not acceptable.

I completely disagree . It's an honest attempt to explore his life and career and understand what happened to him .

It's a well-researched book that doesn't make much judgement - that's left to the reader to make up their mind. It's clear that the sport is rotten to the core in places and the only vultures concerned were the ones that hung around Pantani and pandered to his habit.
