just bought meta55.3 was going to swap the avid juicy 3 brakes for my own xt's, also was going to swap wheels to my own crossrides, anyone think this is not a good idea and why?

    Sounds like a good idea to me. You can sell the wheels and brakes as 'unused' on ebay then. It only makes sense if your Mavics and XT are in good order though.

    only 9 months old and very happy with xt brakes was not sure whether the crossrides would be tough enough tho, you think?
