Will he be sitting at home smiling, glad his team have not been invited to this Tour? :D

I doubt it - too much money at stake, it must really gnaw away at him that Bertie would have won it easy peasy again.

I'm thinking more of the fact that none of his riders are at risk of getting busted as they're not racing at the Tour...

  • They might have found sand in Bertie's sandals if he'd been at the Tour. It's the new miracle training regime - go to the beach! It's similar to my eating cake idea which backfired at the Marmotte slightly. Doh.

It would've worked if it'd been Jaffa cakes. I had a couple of Jaffa cake bars before a race a couple of weeks ago, and I was flying! Or maybe that was the Mircera I popped the week before...

I'm sure the French wouldn't have targetted Bertie, Levi and Klodi, seeing they've always had such an excellent working relationship with Johan's lads.
No, I think DavyL is correct. Better to avoid the aggro and stay at home. At this rate, there'll be no opposition left by next year!

Kind of a (tenuous) parallel with Lance, sat at home in 1998, while the sh*t hit the fan at the Tour...

He's probably putting the Micera on ebay now. I'm joking of course...
