I've had a look at a few that have taken my fancy and was wondering if anyone had any feedback on any of these frames and their respective strengths:

1. Planet X SL Pro Carbon Road: looks good but I'm not overly keen on the idea of compact geometry

2. Ribble Ribelle Carbon Road

3. Pedalforce ZX3 : Looks nice but a bit plain.

thanks for any feedback,

I thought they had a carbon frame for under £500 , but that must have been yestermonth .
Not the lightest around but likely the cheapest . http://www.surosa.co.uk/detail.aspx?ID=4568

what about the original Ribble Nero Corsa:

a bit cheaper and well liked on here - it;s a dedaccai frame - reddraggon has built one up with carbon centaur (although his doesn't carry any logos at all which is cool - can't remember where he got it from though) and it's a great looking bike.

Probikekit.com have cheapish frames that come with seatpost and forks: 630 quid. There is also a review included on the webpage from cyclingplus mag:

Chain Reaction had them, It was £450 last Christmas, They were something like £600 or £700 for just the frame back then at Ribble, so they've gone down a bit.

Not on your list, but if you think the ZX3 is plain, why not try the red/black RS2 from Pedalforce ? I bought one in their group buy earlier this year and it builds up into a nice bike.

I can't compare with the others on your list, but I will say that it's incredibly light (lighter than my OCLV Trek) and very comfortable to ride.

I have been riding a Planet-X SL Pro Carbon Pro for a few months now. I don't have too much experience of road riding to really say how the frame compares to others. Build quality of the frame looks very good, the finish has seemed fairly resistant to general riding.

The only similar bike I have tried was a Pinnacle Aeos 3 Carbon which I did 60mile or so ride on, in comparison the Planet-X seems a bit stiffer under pedalling, but is a slightly harsher ride. However I have done several 100mile+ rides on my new bike I haven't felt too battered at the end, but then I generally ride a rigid mtb so maybe I am used to being battered by the end of a ride.

Wiggle have Wilier Mortirolo frames for £700 or so: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Triathlon/10/Wilier_Mortirolo_Carbon_Frameset/5360034622/

I used to have a Mortirolo, they are fantastic frames.
