Changing brake fluid (DOT3/4 -> DOT5.1)

Chaps,

Looking for a little guidance. I have some Juicy 7's I got second hand and they feel a little spongy compared to the freshly bled Juicy 3's on the missus bike. So I'm planning to bleed them, but fancy upgrading to DOT5.1 fluid, mainly as you can easily get it from Halfords in little bottles so no wastage and it only costs £4.

My question is, I know they recommend flushing the system of the old fluid so not to mix it, but how do I do that? Is it a case of just pushing an extra syringe or two of fluid through from caliper to brake lever, or do you have to dismantle the brakes to flush them? I think they are 2007's so dont have DOT5.1 in already.

TIA

    do not worry they are fully mixable just bleed them as normal to remove the old fluid.
