It certainly looks like it!
Plus it sounds like he's just come off of a 3 day bender in the pub!0 -
No he always looks like that!0
-
my sister asked if he was an alcho this morning! he seemed to pirk up a bit yesterday towards the end of the day.0

Did Roache tell him to shut up yesterday ? It seemed like he was going to insinuate something about valverde (I think) and ROache butted in and said something like be quiet sean ?Planet X N2A

Yates looks like Super Hans off of Peep Show0 -
He He Oh the irony....Roachy discussing drugs. Yates has hardly said a word....0

I guess these must be the British Eurosport sofa pundits that Carlton Colby (sp?) refers to occasionally?
I'm glad to be watching Eurosport International and not be subjected to this. I wonder what it is that makes programme makers think that the Brits can't digest sport without the help of a bunch of has-beens sitting around in ill-fititng suits talking sh!te (I presumed the last bit..).0 -

no he aint- duffers talks sense on the panel-yates talks to his shoes- he looks and acts like a bad meff'dont forget lads, one evertonian is worth twenty kopites'0 -
Sorry have to disagree,Yates has been their done it and got a few t shirts, duffield just rambles on and doesn't even finish his sentences.Ask Stephen Roche who he would rather sit next too and I bet you it aint that old codger.I listen to Yates but have to turn the t.v. down when that silly old git is rambling on.0

Agree wholeheartedly with Campagchris,Yates is far more informative than Duffield plus its interesting listening to Sean Yates answering questions without compromising himself or any of his riders past and present. He has his finger on the pulse in the teams far more than Duffield ever will also.0

He certainly seemed to know exactly what 3rd generation EPO was, straight of the bat, even before it had been announced. I suppose that's the benefit of having a team medical monitoring doctor to hand.
I hope he's around if CSC turn in a positive, which could well happen, after all the PR he's spun for them and his Astana.
Looks like he's been on an all-nighter with Stephan Schumacher."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
I.m surprised Mr Yates's nose didnt start to grow when he was asked about Ricco Ratso's drug taking.....his eyes were looking at the floor the whole time...a psychologists dream ! Cert - tent - lee a guilty one !lucy Woodward0

His eyes are always looking at the floor.
It surely can't be in any of the teams interests these days to prompt their riders to cheat. They are clearly getting caught out and when they do the team sponsors are looking elsewhere, they don't want their brand associated with that sort of thing.
I think the team doctors should be employed by the ASO or the UCI so there is no conflict of interest. They can monitor the "blood passports" and report to the teams and the governing body if they suspect or know of a problem.0 -
last year he was the 'pundit' on the BBC coverage of the World's. It was on BBC 'red button' all day and he was really interesting to listen to. It sounds to me like he has a bit of a stammer and that is why his speech is a bit stilted.'Google can bring back a hundred thousand answers. A librarian can bring you back the right one.'
