Broke a spoke on my Fulcrum Racing 3's. :x

I presume that my LBS will have to order a replacement Fulcrum spoke. Anyone got an idea how much this is likely to set me back?

Thanks.

  • not sure but it's a right faffy job involving magnets so best to just get the shop to do it.

I got some R3's - how come you need magnets to replace them???

What do I ride? Now that's an Enigma!

A 'special' magnet would have been supplied with them. There is a cavity between the tubes and the spokes which the nut goes in. You drop the nut through the valve hole, use gravity to get it opposite the spoke hole and then use the magnet to pull the nut through the hole. Ta-Da...

I suspect an 'ordinary' magnet might just do the trick too :D
