they had the contestants on the most wonderful gadget, take a standard road bike , take of the front wheel and attach it to this frame and the rear wheel attaches to the back so as its off the ground. in front of them was a screen with moving background , just like you were out on a road ride, it was a super piece of kit.

the mega busted rebecca was complaing vociferously of having a sore @rse, she does a lot of biking.................NOT !! and the achingly gorgeous Sarah had to put a pillow on the saddle as after 11 miles, as her love tunnel was killing her.

its pure garbage tv programme ( just incase anybody thinks i watch it ) but the wife was watching it and watching the girls ,who obviously arent into cycling , was very very funny indeed.

hmm - you only thought that the cycling was funny - yet you described the contestants as :

    "the mega busted rebecca"

    and

    "the achingly gorgeous sarah"

sounds like great TV to me too!!

(I loathe big brother by the way - cant stand it and never have - but my wife is like some kind of addict!)

    It was pathetic.

I thought it was a great task. 560+ KM to be completed in 30hrs on each bike (of 2).

    They broke one.

Only 2 of the 6 (I think) are actually interested. They all have to do a min of 30mins each, which is killing most of them.

Unfit, is the biggest understatement for this lot!

    Unless it involves alcohol, then it's boring . . . . . .

You have to feel for Barloworld! First Deunas' positive and now the shame of having one of the big brother contestants sporting their kit. It never rains but it pours...

I thought it was hilarious. I was channel surfing trying to find something to watch and I caught that just as they got told what they task was.

Best bit of Big Brother in ages.

why did berlinda nearly die when she finished

should this not be a BIG wake up call for 80% of them

I know we are cyclists and love it and they clearly are not and dont but was it a good idea to have them do this without the ok from a doc, who would probably have said 'this lot shouldnt be doin 5 mins let alone 30!!!!'

What's wrong with that? If I was cooped up in a house for weeks with those people and cameras watching, alcohol would play a big part. Unless there was the cycling task, which would be a god-send. I’m sure most of their consumption must increase due to the circumstances.
I hate Big Bother and the only reason I know about this is when channel surfing I spotted them doing the cycling challenge. I was drawn back to it every time there was an add break on the other channel. Probably due to my cycling obsession.
It was funny to watch how pathetic they were. Mind you, I probably wouldn’t have much interest in their hobbies.

The biggest worry is that someone had pictures of it. I feel some kind of digital recording may have been involved.

Are you the same folk who DON'T watch Emmerdale, East Enders, Corry, The Bill, Casualty (is that still on?), Crossroads (is that still on?), X-Bloody Factor, Strictly I'm In a Jungle On Ice???

I episode of each one added together is about 3 hours of riding time missed (probably with lights on). I know what I prefer to be doing.

I'd rather stick hot pins in my eyes and then eat my own head than be in the same room as ANY of that tat!
