    not seen that before, it certainly looks a bit different. the 'fold into a backpack' idea is great, if it weren't for the two wheels you'd have to lug about as well.

    as an airnimal user i'm used to carrying the front wheel around and it doesn't half get mucky!

    If the 'saddle boom' is pivoted then it's not a new idea. It has been around for about 20 years - have to scratch my brains cells to remember the make but it was sold by Ron Kitchin.

    Not a great design either... The effective saddle height would change as you bobbed with your pedal stroke. Even Jacques Anquteil wouldn't be able to pedal smoothly on one of those beam bikes.

    Even so, they were very popular with US triathletes in the 90s... Which says it all reallly.
