Hi
Anyone got any knowledge of either of the above bikes please ?
I`ve been speaking to various shops and these seem about the favourites. Tied in to cycle to work and can get the above with a bit of wrangling.
I`m returning to road cycling after a few years , and I`ll need it for commuting plus fun at the weekends. Getting on a bit and need a bit of comfort.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks

I have an older Zurich in Reynolds 853. It rides very well, but Lemond had very specific ideas about frame geometry - he advocated a relaxed seat tube angle, resulting in a long top tube. Not to everybody's taste, but I don't know whether the more recent models follow this pattern, or more conventional thinking. Still quality bikes though.0

I have the 2007 Lemond Zurich Triple.
Comfiest thing I've ever ridden. It's also extremely fast. Well made.
Recommend it very highly. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I've also just bought an older Lemond Zurich secondhand with 853 tubing and I love it. The top tube is relatively speaking quite long but it can be resolved by fitting a shorter stem0

Thanks for the replies so far - looks like 3 - 0 to the Lemond at the moment ! Just need to find a stockist near Barnsley willing to let me try one0

Remember that they'll probably get rarer and rarer now. Join an exclusive club!
