Because no one is helping you, I guess Marzocchi 4X would be the best,
but second hand, because they are £400 new.
Or you can go for Argyle 409......£330-350.
  • marzocchi dirt jumper 1 are great forks at a good price - they are bolt-through axle though so you will need the right hub for them

halo rims are very strong - but be careful because some are very heavy. The SAS rims are good.

Just as an idea, I'd go with argles, see if you can get the air ones, i think activesportskit.co.uk have them pretty cheap, then 20mm hub, possibly xt built onto EX721 rims or get hopes and use merlin to build them, easton bars and stem, tyres will depend on the surface, xt cranks will be good

How about Society Xeno forks? 36mm stanchions, fully adjustable, can be used with either standard q/r or 20mm, 80mm or 100mm travel, designed specially for 4x, they're British, AND...get this....

    £180 all in!!!!

Get good reviews too by all accounts.

    Halo SAS for your wheels/rims

Why bother with XT cranks? Hone/LX are just as good (if a little heavier) but dirt cheap.

Stem and bars - FireEye and NC17 seem like good value, or there's Deity, Da Bomb, Funn, Sunline, DMR, the list is endless!
