Please can anybody help...
I commute to work, around trip of about 20 miles, mainly flat and have finally parted company with my trusty old Sirrus. Well to be more accurate a scaffolding lorry ran it, and to a lesser extent me, over.
I want to get a new ride to work bike and the Ridgeback 25th Anniversary Edition took my eye. It seems well specced and also in my price range. However, because of the limited number produced there seems to be nobody to speak to who has experience of them. I have also thought about the following options:
Another Sirrus...
Giant FCR C (Price is now down to £950!!!)
or
Kona PHd

Any advice, thoughts or comments welcome (particularly about the Ridgeback)

Thanks

Steve

  • I fancied one of these too and have been waiting and waiting for my employer to join the Bike to Work scheme. Finally we joined this week. I rang the local Ridgeback supplier who in turn rang the Ridgeback factory and came back with the news that they are entirely sold out. Sorry.
  • Cyclesurgery have 12 of them. Yipee!!!
