Bottle Boss problem

Over the past couple of evenings I have been building up my new trainer/commuter on an quality alloy frame.

One of the bottle boss inserts on the downtube hasn't been fastened into the frame. I try and insert a bolt and it revolves, hence the bolt won't drive into the threads. I've tried to hold the thing still but it's impossible given the small flange - there's not enough meat to grip and I can't apply any holding pressure by pressing the bottle cage down either.

I'm not particulary keen on stripping the bike down and making a Sale of Goods claim - not only is it wasted time but the vendor doesn't have my size in stock at the moment. There's also the problem that the Isis BB on my alternative bike is shagged and in need of replacement.

Can anyone think of anything to cure the problem on the current frame?

trip to your LBS or a engineers shop and get them to re set it with a rivnut setter.

Drizzle some super glue around the edge between boss and frame (not inside the thread).
Grease the bolt thread when re-fitting so it will come undone in the future.
