Today during my trip around town i stopped at a LBS while cruising around on my gary fisher hi fi deeluxe. While waiting for a friend to purchase stuff i walked the bike out side. I sat down and my front fork did not budge. It just was stuck there. It was working perfectly fine before then bamn it doesnt work. I took it into the bike shop i was just in and he just said it was f*cked. I had to ride it back and when it went over a little ledge it just went deeper in. It can come out its not stuck but there is not a full stroke. Im not sure what happened. Can anyone give me any insight or what to do with it? Its still under warrenty.

Its a 2007 manitou minute with G2 offset on gary fisher hifi deeluxe

when was the last time it was serviced?

and in might be more cost effective to replace it with a fork that works.

Manitou are not know for working or lasting for long.

It has never gone through servicing as it is just a year old. I am getting it serviced at the only bike shop that deals with fork rebuidling in the Toronto Canada area
