Coast to Coast - trailer or pack & general advice
Anyone done the C2C from St.Bees to Robin Hood's bay recently?
Planned for start of September (delayed due to a spate of injuries) -all mapped out and putting some finishing touches to the intended gear list. Not using packhorse service or B&Bs/Hostels - we're camping! As such, all gear will be taken with us. After experimenting with different packing options - 65l pack, or 32l pack + frame bag etc. I wanted to find out if anyone has done the trip with a trailer? Not considering racks due to the off-road nature of our route. I have a useful friend in the RAF who has access to Bobcat trailers - any users out there?
Also, if you've done the C2C, general words of wisdom would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Ed

Might want to try the Road/Touring section. Those chaps really seem to know the long distance stuff!.
