Would it be too much to ask for British Eurosport to start broadcasting in widescreen first?!

But what's up with the highlights for the TdF ??

    1.5 hours on Eurosport UK
    1 hour on Eurosport HD

    Bit bizzare.

    Pffffft.

If you're not HD ready you may as well be watching a black and white 4:3 telly :P

Meh. I bought an HD ready telly about three years ago but still haven't got round to actually getting an HD sub to watch anything on. Still too expensive.

Can I just say "OMFG" - I thought in the past cycling would be made for HD and I was right.

Roll on the Alps! The most beautiful sport looks even more beautiful.

Iain: Yesterday Harmon babbled on about HD being available on the Sky platform, but only if you received the International Eurosport, not ESUK.
I had no idea ES International was available through Sky. As you obviously get it, is it part of a Sky package?
I'd love to swop ESUK for International, as they slaughter far less cycling.

Nope. They just launched it - I only have Brit Eurosport as part of my Sky package. So Harmon's information was old.

The next best thing Eurosport can do is dump Videoguard on Astra 2 and get available without a Sky subscription (ie available on any digital receive pointing at Astra 2).
    Do Nellyphants count?

    Cheapo Roadie: FCN 5

I'd agree - It's some of the most astonishing stuff I've seen. Really lookinf forward to the mountains now.

We'll also have the Olympics in HD so that'll be good too.

Let me know when they get the Beach Volleyball World Tour and then I might consider getting a subscription...

Very jealous. Sounds fantastic. It really is the sporting event that HD was made for.
