I'm trying to download the Shimano 105 docs for my new Giant TCR, and the link for the one of the RD-5600 rear derailleur pdfs is broken, it just links back to the main page. I'd post a link to that but the forum code doesn't like, it's easy enough to find in the road bike section, here. Tried deciphering it from the other working links but they're completely cryptic, and the parent directory is inaccessible.

I've scoured the site for any way to tell Shimano about this, but can't find any sort of contact info at all. I don't suppose anyone would have the file saved somewhere, or may be able to suggest where I could get me hands on either a hard or soft copy?

Cheers,

B

Is this what you're looking for?

    http://techdocs.shimano.com/media/techd ... 612520.pdf

If that doesn't work, why not just download the Ultegra equivalent. They're practically the same aren't they?

    what info are you wanting?
put RD-5600 pdf into google and you get some downloadable shimano docs.

Cheers Synchronicity, that looks like what I was after. Website refers to SI-5VN0C whereas your link seems to be for ...B, but I ain't gonna quibble about that small a difference. As for the Ultegra stuff, you'll have to forgive the fact that this is all a bit new to me and be prepared for my bouts of ignorance. Having said that, hearing that the mechanical differences are negligible is kinda reassuring.

    Thanks again (Nick included)

you will find that just about every shimano part works on the same principles for that item,
If you cant get the correct info take the one above or the one below and in 99% of the time you will have usable infos.

Sram is also similar in this.
