Weight and quality change
Hi,
Currently I have shimano 105 9 speed from 2006, I have bought a look 555 Carbon frame and was wondering weather to upgrade to Ultegra SL Groupset. But I can't find the weight saving and was wondering about the difference in quality is it worth £400. I'm going shimano rather than campag as my wheels are shimano compatable rather that campag.
Any thoughts?

If weight is an issue don't bother to 'upgrade' as you will only save about 100 to 150g.
If quality is an issue go for Campag Centaur carbon and use a Shiftmate from JTEC to allow use of the shimano wheels, with/without shimano cassettes.0 -
The wheels are Mavic ES, and when i bought them it said either shimano or campag, so its easy to switch over without any effect on shiffting etc, I don't really understand what the compatability issue is?
