I've got some Specialized lock on grips on my Orange 5 and wanna take them off, they are the grips with the single collar nearest the shifters but I cant seem to get them off , to make matters worse I've got carbon bars so dunno how to go about taking them off.
Any help?

I'd get a thin kinfe and very carefully lift up the end of the grip and slip a little water under it, then push the grip of inboard-outboard, think of it like a chinese fingertrap and you'll be most of the way there0

I had the same problem... same grips carbon etc... and yes i scratched my bars. The soap theory works!0

have you tried tapping them either onto or off the bar with a small hammer?0

Try using brake levers or gear shifters and pull them along worked on mine.0
