Memory Map Navigator

I've just got hold of this software 2nd hand, but do not have a manual.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some instructions? I've managed to load a map and an overlay of a route, but am unsure where to go from there....

PS - I'll be using it on my PDA with a separate GPS receiver (TomTom) - will that work?
