07 Record f mech ok with 08 Chorus chainset & shifters?

As subject heading really - will an '07 Record front mech work with '08 Chorus shifters and chainset? Is there much difference between '07 and '08 Record front mechs?

    It will work without any problems.

    Up to recently I was using a mid-nineties 105 front mech with 07 Veloce shifters and Centaur chainset.

    Not in respect of your question but for 2008 the cage of the front mech was designed to suit both standard and compact rings in one mech...redesigned the band for the band on version.....and took away it's titanium bolts.
    I'd rather walk than use Shimano
