can i run Vbrakes with 24inch wheels if the frame is for 26

hi,
new to this but want to fit 24's instead of 26's. the bikes only got rear v brakes so just wondering if theres and adapters to move the brakeposts to suite.

DMR used to make one a few years ago, but the ones I saw were for forks.
A2Z make a disc adapter that fits onto the dropout and has a bar to transfer the load to the brake post though.

thanks for that, it looks like ill be doing that, just prefer v brakes
