Hi Guys,
Just had a new front derailier fitted on my bike and while in bottom gear the mech itself (on the bottom bracket mount not the moveable part) rubs against the chain.
Hopefully you can see what i mean in this picture.
Its and XTR Bottom Bracket Mount and XTR chainset on a Scott MC20.
Is there anything i can do about this? I use bottom gear a lot when i go north!!
Cheers for any advice.

sounds like a spacer is needed on the axle line."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I assume thats something id have to get a shop to do as id need to take the crank apart.
I had it fitted so i will take it back in and see if they will sort it out.
thanks for your advice'08 Scott Genius MC20

tried adjusting the low adjuster screw? adjust it to just before it knocks it off the inner chainring whilst in 1st gear on the cassette? if it's adjusted as far as possible in and still rubbing then what nick^ said. i've found them to be quite fiddly litlle buggers to get spot on, a bit of a juggle with clamp height/rotation, high/low screw and cable tension.0
