A quick question. I am in the middle of rebuilding two low profile TT machines. One is a Cougar and the other is a rare Gendron. I have Mavic trispoke wheels for these particular machines. Now does anyone know what the rulings are for front wheel sizes. Can I use in competition a 650 front coupled with a 700 rear, or are the rulings still in the bronze age??

cheers

Chainwheel.

Would be ok for use in the UK (under Cyling Time Trial regulations) but I believe UCI sanctioned events do not allow unequal wheel sizes - best check with the Swedish Cycling Federation if it's Swedish events you are riding.

UCI rules now require two 700 wheels.

I thought the requirement was for two wheels the same size? If you are a short arse I thought you could use 650s?
